Your customers need to click theView detailsoption to see the invoice description, mtnfire. But there are a few things you'll want to check prior to ensure the said information will show up.
QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't display the invoice description directly when emailed. You'll want to ensure theShow full details in emailoption is enabled in theAccount and settings.
Here's how:
From theAccount and settings, click theSalestab.
In theOnline deliverysection, select the Pencil icon to edit.
Check theShow full details in the email.
ClickSave, thenDoneafter.
On top of that, verify that theDescriptionbox is selected on your invoice template. Let me show the steps:
Navigate to theGearicon, selectCustom form styles.
Find the invoice template you are using, and clickEdit.
Under theContenttab, select the second box.
Check theDescriptionbox, and clickDone.
