The overlays or pop-ups offer suggestions and guidance for how to enhance your QuickBooks experience. While the option to turn off the overlays isn't available, we can utilize the browser's pop-up blocker, which can help prevent unexpected pop-ups.
For Mozilla Firefox:
Select the Menu icon ( three vertical dots) in the web address bar.
Choose Options and select Privacy and Security.
Scroll down to Permissions.
Select Block Pop-Ups Windows, then uncheck to disable.
Google Chrome:
Go to the Menu icon (three vertical dots) in the upper right corner of the web address bar.
Select Settings and choose the Privacy and Security section.
Click on Site Settings, then scroll down to locate Pop-ups and redirects.
Select Don't allow sites to send pop-ups or use redirects.
Select the Add button to enter the QBO web address and click Add.
Safari:
From your browser, click Safari, then select Settings.
Choose Websites at the top.
Click Pop-up Windows on the left sidebar.
Scroll down to the bottom of the list if you don't see the Pop-up Windows.
