You'll need to fill in the VAT or Tax field to successfully save and send the invoice, Digital.

If you prefer to create an invoice without tax, you can select 0% Tax, Tax Exempt, or No VAT. However, if you'd like the invoice to include tax, you'll need to choose the applicable tax rate and percentage to apply to the invoice. If you haven't set up a tax rate yet, I'd be happy to guide you through the process of creating one.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu.
  2. Click the Add Tax button.
  3. Select Custom tax.
  4. Enter the required details in the respective fields.
  5. Hit Save.

Once the tax rate setup is complete, you can create an invoice, apply the tax rate, and save and send the invoice.

Also, please make sure that you've selected the Inclusive of Tax option to ensure that tax rates appear when creating invoices.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Account and Settings.
  3. Select the Advanced tab, and go to the Accounting section.
  4. Click Edit, then select Inclusive of Tax in the Default tax rate selection drop-down menu.
  5. Hit Save, then Done to save the changes.
