The main thing to keep in mind is that you'll need to adjust how QuickBooks handles layouts. Since the software defaults to full-sized pages, head into your Custom Form Styles to create a narrow receipt template.

 

By removing extra columns and tightening the margins, you ensure the text fills the entire three-inch paper roll. It prevents the content from looking tiny or getting cut off at the edges.

Hi quickbooks on line is limited to what can be done with design , it won't allow for design for thermal printer ,

Since QuickBooks Online is designed for standard A4 or letter-sized documents, getting professional thermal receipts requires a specialized integration.

 

QuickBooks hosts an ecosystem of third-party applications for receipt printing. These apps can take your data and reformat it for 58mm or 80mm thermal rolls. You can access them by clicking the Integration icon located in the upper-right corner of the dashboard. Just use the search bar and enter keywords like "receipt printing' or "receipt designer".
