Can you clarify the exact behavior you're observing? Are you trying to enter quantities with more than 2 decimal places but noticing that they are displayed as only two decimal places (e.g., 0.00), or is the issue related to unexpected decimal places appearing?
For now, the ability to manually set a fixed number of decimal places for the Quantity column is unavailable. At the same time, QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't offer a built-in setting to control the number of decimal places for quantity fields.
The Quantity field operates on a dynamic system rather than a fixed one. QuickBooks supports up to seven decimal places for quantities in the background.
If you type in 1.1234567, the system will store and calculate based on that precision and will automatically round off the number of decimal places in your transactions. I've added a screenshot for your reference:
