Is there an easy way to invoice a client for expenses? I have expenses charged to my corporate card that I have to submit to my client for reimbursement.

Quickbooks online links to my credit card account, and I've tagged all the charges that are reimbursible. Can I select the tagged transactions and arrange them in an invoice? Would be a huge time-saver.

You can manage these transactions in QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced versions through the Billable Expense tracking feature.

 

You can easily record and track billable expenses so your customer can reimburse them when they receive their invoice by marking expenses as Billable.

 

If you are using QuickBooks Online Easy Start or Essentials, you can manually add these expenses as line items on your invoice. Then, map them to an income account such as Billable Expense Income or Reimbursed Expenses. However, you need to consult with your accountant to ensure you are using the correct expense categories.

 

Additionally, if you regularly record these types of transactions, consider upgrading to Plus or Advanced to save time.
