Hello, Marian. 

 

If you're a first-time subscriber to QuickBooks Online, your invoice will only become available after your initial payment has been processed. The system needs to confirm that your payment is successful and your subscription is active before it can generate the official invoice.

 

Once completed, you can access this document, which serves as your official receipt, under Settings to Subscriptions and Billing.

 

However, if you've made prior payments and need to provide an invoice copy to your manager, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to Settings, then Subscriptions and billing.
  2. Select the View payment history link to access invoices for last two years of bills for both monthly and annual subscribers. 
  3. From there, you can download the relevant PDF.

 

It's also worth noting that if you're signed in as an Accountant user, you won't be able to download invoices for clients who pay for their subscriptions directly.
