Hi there, texture. SKUs aren’t appearing in the Product/Service field when creating an invoice because the SKU option needs to be enabled in your customization settings. This is a common setup step in QuickBooks Online, and once enabled, SKUs will display and be searchable when adding products to transactions.
 

To enable it, open +Create and select Invoice. In the upper-right corner, choose Manage, then Customization, and turn on the SKU option. Once enabled, you’ll be able to search products by SKU directly in the Product/Service field on your invoice.
