In QuickBooks Online (QBO), if the Multicurrency feature is enabled, sales receipts and other transactions may automatically change their currency, sales322.

After the multicurrency feature is enabled, it cannot be disabled. This is because QuickBooks needs to handle currency conversions for future transactions. It helps manage transactions with customers, vendors, or bank accounts that use currencies different from your home currency. If a customer's currency is different from your home currency, the sales receipt will automatically use the customer's assigned currency.

However, once you enable the multicurrency feature, you can manually add new currencies to your list by following the steps below.

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Under the Lists section, select Currencies.
  3. Choose the Add Currency button in the top right corner.
  4. From the dropdown list, choose the currency you want to add and click Add.
