Vacation Balance is 14.66, but vacation pay shows negative in QBO. please advise how to fix this ASAP as we need to fill her ROE and process her F&F settlement.

In QuickBooks Online Canada Payroll, negative vacation pay can happen due to prior payouts, adjusted paycheques, or changed settings. To fix it, I recommend updating the employee’s Vacation Balance to show the correct hours and pay for their final settlement.

To do this:

1. Go to Payroll, then select Employees.
2. Open the employee’s profile.
3. Scroll down to the Time off section.
4. Click Make adjustments.
5. Enter the Vacation Balance based on your records, then click Save.
