You'll want to access QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) to file the CT600, as this feature is not available in a QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

Here's how you can file your CT600 directly using QBOA:

  1. Log in to your QBOA, then select Workpapers.
  2. Select Start return in Pro Tax. QuickBooks will automatically pull your mapped tax data from Workpapers. You have the option to Start a blank return if you'd like to enter data manually.
  3. Choose the client.
  4. Select the year-end start and end date.
  5. Give the return a name.
  6. Once done, click Continue.

If you don't have access to QBOA, i suggest working with an accountant so they can provide further assistance in filing your CT600. Contacting the HMRC is also recommended so they can share more details about other ways to handle this type of situation.

For further guidance on preparing and submitting annual accounts using Workpapers and Pro Tax, you can refer to this article: Learn how to submit annual accounts reporting using Workpapers and Pro Tax.
