I've got some steps on how you can create an invoice with another currency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
In QBO, you can create an invoice with another currency if the multi-currency feature is turned on. Once turned on, the invoice we create in QuickBooks depends on the currency assigned to the customer's profile. That said, you can allocate USD currency to the appropriate customer and reflect it on the invoice accordingly.
However, please know that this feature is exclusive to QBO Essentials and Plus subscriptions. If you're currently using the QBO Simple Start, you can change your home currency to change your invoice currency to USD. Follow these steps to proceed:
Go to the Gear icon, then Account and Settings.
Tap Advanced. Then at the Currency column, click the edit button.
From the Home currency column, select the USD currency from the drop-down menu.
Hit Save, then Done.
Also, please note that the currency symbol for existing transactions will change, not the amounts. Otherwise, you'll want to upgrade your QBO subscription to utilize the muti-currency option.
