As my colleague MaryJoyD stated above, when creating an invoice, you'll have the number (#), product/service, SKU, description, QTY, Rate, and the Amount column.
If you don't see the invoice row number in your end, let's perform some browser troubleshooting steps to check if this is a web browser-related issue. Sometimes stored cache from your browser for a long period can affect the views and performance of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
To start, let's access your account via a private/incognito window. You may use these keyboard shortcuts in opening a private/incognito window:
Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
Safari: Command + Option + P
If you're able to see the invoice row number while in a private/incognito window, then we'll have to clear your regular browser cache. This way, it'll optimize your regular browser performance and prevents unusual behavior from your browser.
If the issue persists, I suggest using another supported browser.
Then, in case you want to learn how to customise sales form in your QBO account, feel free to check this article for the detailed steps: Customise Sales Forms.
