How can I see the year to date payment history for an employee

Welcome to the Community. I can help you view the payment history in QuickBooks Online.

You can run a report to view the year-to-date payments to your employees. However, it'll depend on how you record them in the system.

The International version does not have a payroll function inbuilt. If you're using journal entry to enter the transactions, you can run the Journal report.

Here's how:

1. On the left navigation bar, click Reports.
2. Scroll down and select Journal.
3. Press the drop-down arrow below Report period and choose This Year-to-date.
