Hi, How to add"Ship via" while adding "bills"from vendors ?

Monitoring shipping profitability is crucial for accurately assessing your business reports, a2atradingllc. Let me provide insights regarding adding the Ship Via functionality to your bills.

Currently, this feature is only available for QuickBooks Online Advanced (QBO) users, who can create custom fields for vendor bills. If you're not  subscribed to this plan and would like this option, I recommend upgrading your QBO account.

To create one, here's how:

1. Head to the Gear icon, then Custom fields.
2. Click Add customer field. However, if you have created one, hit Add field.
3. Create a name for this custom field from the Name field.

4. Choose the data type from the Data type  dropdown for your custom field: Text and number, Number, Date, or Dropdown list. If you opt for the Dropdown list, please input the items you want to include.

5. Choose the category for the custom field: Customer, Transaction, Supplier, or Project. Use customer fields for customer profiles and supplier fields for supplier profiles. Transaction fields can be assigned to sales forms such as invoices, estimates, and sales receipts, as well as to purchase forms like purchase orders, bills, expenses, and checks.

6. Choose the forms where you want  this custom field to appear.

7. To allow customers or suppliers to view a field from a sales form, please enable the Print on form option. 

8. Once everything is settled, click Save.
