I'm trying to add paypal as a linked account. When I add it as a bank account it appears to treat sales transactions as expenses. Shouldn't I be able to add it as an app?

Adding PayPal as a linked account automatically downloads sales transactions as expense transactions into QuickBooks, depending on PayPal’s data-sharing ability, @Doane. While PayPal can’t currently be added as an app, you can use a third-party connector with QuickBooks Online to allow these transactions to flow as sales transactions after the integration setup process.

To find an app that connects your PayPal account to QuickBooks Online (QBO), go to the Apps menu, then click Find Apps. From there, you can search, review, and select an app that suits your needs.
