Your file does not contain the three required columns: transaction date, memo and amount

Yes, Kamba. We can manually upload a bank statement to QuickBooks, utilizing an accurately formatted and mapped file.

In QuickBooks Online, CSV files can be uploaded using either a 3-column or 4-column format:

  • 3-Column Format: Enter payments as negative amounts and deposits without a negative sign.
  • 4-Column Format: Record payments under the "Credit" column and deposits under the "Debit" column.

During the mapping stage, ensure the correct columns are selected; otherwise, QuickBooks won't be able to process the data.

Also, keep in mind that CSV files are formatted differently by each bank, which may prevent some files from importing directly into QuickBooks.

With that, you'll need to adjust the file to meet QuickBooks' requirements, such as correcting the column names, date formats, headers, or the arrangement of transaction amounts. These changes will help ensure your data can be successfully imported.

Another option, use csv2qbo converter tool as a workaround. It's a $60 one time license.
