In order to give your clients access to their books, you’ll need to add them as new users. Make sure you’re the master administrator of this client’s company.
Here’s how:
Open your client’s QuickBooks.
Click the Gear Icon in the upper right corner.
Select Manage Users.
Click the Add user button to the right.
Select which type of user you’d like them to be and follow the corresponding steps.
