Have an employees pay run with an error

Hi jesse_henderson, 

There are several reasons why payroll journals are not exported to QuickBooks. Some of it are, accounts may have been inactive in the Chart of Accounts, split by location is enabled but location tracking in QuickBooks is not enabled, or they may have been duplicate journal number.

Let me show you on how to manually export the pay run to QuickBooks Online.

1. Go to Employees tab.
2. Select Pay Runs.
3. Open a pay run which has an error next to it.
4. Select Export to QuickBooks button. 

You can try to check on the Pay Runs tab if it the icon is showing as Exported already.
