How do i change the general ledger report to run a specific period/financial year?

You can change your report period to your specific date of financial year. Let me guide you how.

1. In the left navigation panel, go to Reports.
2. Type General Ledger in the Find report by name field.
3. In the Report period drop-down, select Custom.
4. Enter your specific date range in the next two field.
5. Hit Run report. See attached screenshot below.
