Question

Is there a way to compare more than one period next to each other in QB reports?

We are always comparing 4 periods with each other on our reports, that way you can see the trend. Xero could do that - I can't see QB being able to that. Is there a secret setting? Also, I would like to compare a set fortnight with another fortnight - QB does only weeks and then wrong week dates (Sun to Sat instead of Mon-Sun). Is this changeable somewhere?

Hello @office225,

As of the moment, there isn't an integrated way to compare your four report periods and change the days with the system.

In the meantime, you can consider customising your reports first base on your desired date range. Then export them as a news excel file and combine your report data so you can compare it.

That being said, here's how you can export your report: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, I've also included this helpful article for guidance when you need to start your year-end preparation: Year-end guide and checklist - Business Owners.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know in the comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand.
