My GST Details Report is showing both the Invoice and the Deposit because I was unable to match them properly. How do I fix this to remove the invoice from the report?

Thanks for posting to the community, sounds like we should try to match the Invoice to the correct deposit. Is there a deposit linked to the invoice at the moment? If not, can you please try these steps. 

1. Locate the invoice in Sales > Invoice tab.
2. From the Actions column, click the Receive Payments link.
3. Make sure to choose Undeposited Funds in the Deposit To drop-down.
4. Enter the full payment of the invoice.
5. Click Save and Close.

Once completed, we can make a deposit by:

1. Click the New (+) icon.
2. Choose a Bank Deposit.
3. Select the Bank Account where the actual payment was deposited. 
4. Enter the date when the actual deposit was made.
5. From Select the payments included in this deposit section, mark all the invoice payments that were paid together.
   • If the invoice was paid individually, just open the recorded payments and change the Deposit To account.
6. Review the payment details.
   • The information should exactly match the downloaded bank transactions.
7. Click the Save and Close button.

If there already is a deposit matched to the invoice, you can delete the deposit and follow the steps above.  

1. Look for the paid invoice in Sales > Invoice tab
2. On the upper right-hand corner, click the payment made.
3. Click the payment date to open the transaction.
4. Check the box for the paid invoices you wanted to delete.
5. Select More, and then click Delete. 
6. Once prompted, click Yes.
7. Click Save and close once done.

Once you have matched the correct deposit to the invoice, your report should be correct. Let us know how you went and if you have any further questions.
