Question

One user, no shared access, does that mean we can only use on one device or can we access on laptop and on phone but with just one user?

Hi there, mj. Welcome to the Community!
 

One user account means one login credential, but you can use it on multiple devices (laptop, phone, tablet) at the same time without any restrictions. It allows a single person to access QuickBooks Online from anywhere, anytime, on supported devices.
 

However, if multiple people use the same login credentials on different devices to handle tasks simultaneously, you may encounter error messages.

Thankyou for replying, also I would like to ask when downgrading my package there is a prompt that says if I downgrade I may lose my data? Can you please clarify this please,

Hi there, Melanie. Thank you for replying here in the Community. I’m happy to clarify what happens to your data when downgrading your QuickBooks Online subscription.

 

When you downgrade your plan, some features and functionalities that are included in your current plan may no longer be available in the lower-tier plan. As a result, certain data tied to those features might not be accessible after the downgrade.

 

However, not all of your data will be lost. Most of your data will still be retained as long as it’s compatible with the new plan.

 

If you decide to proceed with downgrading your plan, I recommend exporting all your data, particularly reports and transactions, so you have a backup before making the change.
