Since QBDT 2013 version is unsupported ,you'll need to upgrade to 2022. This is to avoid data issues due to some feature or version differences.

What kind of error did you encounter? Try reinstalling and running your QBD 2013 in compatibility mode Win 7. Otherwise, consider to purchase a one time license of QBD 2020 or 2021.
