You can only connect the DBS bank personal bank account. For now, the corporate account is not supported. You'll want to send a request to support the bank type. Let me guide you:
Click Banking.
Go to the Banking tab.
Click Connect account or Add account.
Type the bank name, then click Request support for your bank.
Enter the bank's web address or URL, then click Request.
Since Quickbooks would typically be used by companies not individuals, connecting to DBS personal bank accounts is not very useful. It used to connect to DBS ideal earlier but hasn't for the last couple of years. Other software, like Xero, flawlessly update from DBS Ideal. Please work with DBS to ensure Ideal accounts can also be updated automatically. I am still following the workabout solution of downloading files, copying into template to match quickbooks format, save as csv and then import. This is a waste of time since it should be done automatically. Please do make the effort to sort this out. Thank you.
QuickBooks SG...please do prioritize the integration with DBS IDEAL or at least affirm that this is in the Dev Roadmap.
If not, I will not be recommending QB over XERO. It is really odd that such a basic integration to Singapore's largest bank (with the most number of SME business account) is not available!
Folks reading this thread....pls do "CHEER" this thread up
I understand how you want to connect DBS with QuickBooks Online, Sunburnsam.
Sending a request to support your bank is our way of knowing how many users want an online banking connection. However, it still depends on your financial institution if they want QuickBooks to connect with them.
You can consider adding your company to the list by following these steps.
Go to the Banking menu.
Click Add account.
When you can't find DBS, there's a Request support for your bank option.
Select it, then enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided.
