How do I import my payroll data into QuickBooks?

The only way to record your payroll data in QuickBooks is to manually enter journal entries. It's a good way to record the accounting information for your payroll.

1. Select + New.
2. Select  Journal Entry.
3. Under Date, select the payroll payment(s) date.
4. Input the entry number.
5. Enter the Debit and Credit accounts.
6. Click Save and close or Save and new.
