Please delete company

We're sad to see you go, but I'm here to help you ensure you'll be able to delete your company file. 
 

We can delete your company by using the Purge Company option. Before anything else, I'd like to mention that this is only available for QuickBooks Essentials or Plus.

We can only do this if your company is within 90 days from when you signed up. This process is permanent and cannot be undone, and would require us to log in as the primary admin. 

With that said, here are the steps to delete your QuickBooks Online company: 

1. Log in to the company you want to delete. 
2. Change https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage to https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany.
3. You'll be taken to confirmation screen. Type YES to delete the data (bottom right corner), then proceed with OK.

If your company is active for more than 90 days or if you're using Simple Start, we can cancel it instead. This article highlights the steps and details for the cancellation process: Cancel your Intuit QuickBooks Online subscription or trial. 

After cancelling, the system will keep your data for one year as a read-only file. After this period, it will be automatically deleted.
