How do i restore a previous .QBB backup file that i have of an old version of qb onto the new online version so that i can continue my invoicing from where i left off?

    To move from a Desktop backup file (.QBB) to QuickBooks Online, you can’t just upload it directly. Since .QBB is a compressed Desktop format, you'll need to convert it using the QuickBooks Desktop app first.

     

    If you still have your old QuickBooks Desktop app, just open it up and head over to File > Open or Restore Company > Restore a backup copy. This only works if both apps are in the same region.
