How do I switch of the automatic invoice numbering in the upgraded version of QB. The custom transaction numbers does not work for me.

The custom transaction number feature works after upgrading, but the system changes how it tracks them. Instead of memorizing separate sequences for individual customers, it runs on a continuous sequence based on the last saved invoice.

To create your own invoice numbers for each customer now, edit the sequence directly on the form. Here is how to do that:

1. Open a new invoice for your customer, click directly inside the Invoice no. box.
2. Delete the automatically generated number and type the specific custom number you want for that customer.
3. Complete and save the invoice.
