Saving a journal entry successfully ensures accurate financial record-keeping, Arleen. I've got some details about the error message you've received.
The message typically appears when you try to record GST adjustments. To prevent the error, avoid selecting a tax code when posting to the GST account, as this can duplicate the entry and cause errors.
However, if there's no tax selected, and the error persists. I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team. They can unfile the form so you can make the necessary changes.
Here's how you can reach them:
Click on Help at the top menu bar.
Select on the Contact Us button.
Enter a brief description of the issue in the What can we help you with? box.
Press on Let's talk or Geta callback.
To learn more about the unfiling process, kindly refer to this article: How to unfile VAT/GST.
Furthermore, you might want to scan this resource for guidance on reviewing transactions included in each box on the tax return base in your tax settings:Tax Detail Report.
