Hi there, lan. You’re absolutely right to be suspicious, as those emails are indeed a phishing scam and did not originate from us. Scammers frequently use alarming language such as "unusual activity" or "account closure" to create a false sense of urgency, hoping you'll react quickly without verifying the details.

The most important thing to look at is the sender's domain. Official communications from us will always come from a domain ending in @intuit.com. For your security, please do not click any links, download any attachments, or reply to those emails, as they are likely designed for phishing and spam.

We also encourage you to forward those emails to our security team so they can investigate the source and help protect other users. The safest way to verify the status of your account is to bypass the email entirely and contact our live support if you suspect unusual activities.

You can reply here at any time if you have additional concerns. We’re here to help.
