Question

Add new user broken - invite email missing link to accept invite

I will call support tomorrow, but just a heads up that the emails sent to new users are missing a link to accept (so the new user can’t accept and create their account).

The button “accept invite” is there…it’s just missing a link.

I appreciate you reaching out to us here today, James. I know how important it is for you and your new users to encounter this issue. Setting up new users is such an important step, and it can be really concerning when something essential, like the link in the invite email, is missing. Rest assured, I’m here to make sure you receive the best possible support to resolve this and keep your business running seamlessly.

To address this situation, we recommend canceling the previous invitation for the affected user and resending a new one. This often resolve issues with the email not functioning as expected.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Manage users.
  3. Find the user you need to invite again.
  4. In the Action column, select Resend invite.

On top of that, please remind the email recipient to check their browser settings to ensure clickable buttons or links are allowed. It’s also important to temporarily disable any pop-up blockers, as these may prevent them from interacting with buttons or links included in the email.

We’re here to support you every step of the way, if the problem persists even after re-sending the invitation, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you again for sharing this concern, we’re committed to helping you resolve it as quickly as possible to ensure your team can get back to business seamlessly.
