Thank you for reaching out, bexleyfootclinic. Having this kind of issue can be caused by several reasons, such as inactivated categories or Bank accounts.

To check if a Chart of accounts or Bank account has been inactivated, here's how:

1. Go to Settings, then select Chart of accounts.
2. Hover over the Gear icon in the Chart of accounts section.
3. Check the Include inactive.

Also, to double check what really happened on the account and why it disappeared, you can go to your Audit log (Gear icon, then Audit log) and check the activities.

If you've confirmed that the account is inactive, here's how to reactivate it:

1. Navigate to Settings then select Chart of accounts.
2. Select the Gear icon within the Chart of accounts section.
3. Click the Include inactive box.
4. Locate the inactive account.
5. In the Action column, click Make active.

This should bring back the accounts you’re looking for.
