Question

all receipts (500+) need to be re-catagorised after new sole trader app installed from self employed app, they were fine before, can i reinstall the old app?

    Hi, @bfgs2009. When you follow the upgrade path from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Sole Trader, all of your existing data transfers to your new subscription. Once the upgrade is complete, the transition is permanent, and you can't go back to the old app.

     

    Regarding your receipts that need to be re- categorized, you'll have to go through them manually.

     

    Additionally, invoices do not carry over during the migration process. You'll have to manually recreate them in QuickBooks Sole Trader to maintain your transaction history.
