I have occasionally forgotten and been hit with the paypal fees (all the customers have me bank details to transfer, however they will use paypal if I've forgotten to disable it individually)

Hi there, Walks.

You can remove the PayPal option from your invoices by disconnecting the app from the system. Keep in mind that only the user who initially added the app can remove it.

Here’s how:

  1. In the top-right corner of your screen, click on the Integrations icon (located before the Notification Bell icon).
  2. Select Manage Integrations.
  3. From the app's drop-down menu, click Disconnect.

Once disconnected, you won’t need to manually disable it each time you create an invoice, and customers will no longer have the option to pay via PayPal.

Alternatively, if you prefer not to disconnect the app, you can still disable PayPal for your invoices by following these steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Sales tab and scroll down to the Invoice Payments section.
  3. Click the Pencil icon and toggle off the Accept PayPal option.
  4. Hit Save, then Done.

This will turn off PayPal by default for all new invoices. However, you will need to recreate any invoices where the PayPal option is already enabled.

If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. We'll be happy to assist further if needed.
