Budget - Subdivide list only contains 'Customer', but I need 'Class'

I'm creating a budget for the first time.  I have the Budget creation screen open and I'm trying to create my budget so that it's subdivided by Class. The instructions that I've seen online suggest that the Subdivided By drop down list should give me the option to choose 'Class', but I only have 'Customer' available.  Do I need to change my settings somewhere?

Hi HB35 Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community. I'd be grateful if you can activate the class option within the settings: select the cog/icon from the main page of your account > account and settings > advanced > categories > activate/toggle on track classes > save. You should then have the class option within the 'Subdivide by' field when creating a budget.
