Created purchase orders from estimates

Good evening, about a month ago we noticed that when you create a purchase order from an estimate (great for creating traceability) QuickBooks has now changed the ship to address on the purchase orders, to the customer that was on the estimate. As a business we sometimes ship direct, but 95% come through our address first. Has anyone got this issue, as QuickBooks support are not solving the problem?

We appreciate you bringing this concern to us, Michael45.

When creating a purchase order from an estimate in QuickBooks Online (QBO), the shipping address will automatically use the address information from your customer's details. To ensure that the address used is your business address before shipping the items to your customer, we recommend manually editing the Shipping Address field.

This thread remains open if you have further inquiries about managing your QuickBooks purchase order.

Thanks for your incorrect reply, we have been using QuickBooks for 2 decades and up to 1 month ago, the default shipping address on this action was our delivery/ buyers address. QuickBooks like many other times had changed things and not for the better

Having the exact same frustration, never had this issue until a few months ago. Have been on the phone with customer service multiple times and continue to try and google solutions. This is the first time I am seeing it brought up on these support groups. I hope quickbooks takes notice of this issue and fixes it. Most companies are not drop shipping items directly to their clients. There is no reason this should be the default.

I've been having this same problem and it's so frustrating! We never had a problem until a few weeks ago. Before then, EVERY PO that was created, regardless if it was copied from an estimate or created manually, always showed our business address as the shipping address. It's starting to cause confusion with my vendors and I've had to stop multiple orders from being shipped directly to my customers. I've called QB customer service and they told me the same thing, create my business as another customer and change it each time I create a PO. I don't know about you, but I don't have time to keep adding extra steps to my daily tasks because QuickBooks keeps changing their program!
