I'm here to help you switch your Self-Employed plan to Sole Trader, Nichola.
We can seamlessly transition your subscription and the majority of your data to QuickBooks Sole Trader, allowing you to carry on with your business operations as usual.
Beforehand, please note that there are data that you can and can't migrate to Sole Trader, and I've listed them below for your reference:

Customers Product and Services
Invoices Bank Connections
Trips Receipts
Data that can't be switched over:
Third-party app integrations such as Etsy, Uber, Amazon
Review the changes in features, then click Continue.
You'll see what data we’re copying over. Select Download Data if you haven’t saved your data and backed up your reports, transactions, mileage logs, receipts, and invoices.
If you opt to download data, you’re directed to the Reports screen. After downloading, you'll need to restart the upgrade process.
Select Continue to proceed.
Hit Get started.
Click Get started, then select Start.
Confirm or update a few details about your business to start using QuickBooks Sole Trader.
After that, we'll automatically cancel your Self-Employed subscription if you purchased it directly from QuickBooks. If you bought it from Google Play or the Apple App Store, you can cancel it through their store.
