I want to share invoices via Whats App from the mobile app but I think it is set to email only and I can't work out how to change it.

You don't need to change any settings to enable sharing via WhatsApp, as the feature is already available. Invoices are set to email by default on the mobile app, so you must send the email first before sharing it via WhatsApp. To do this, simply go to your Invoices page and share it directly.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Menu icon and select the specific invoice that you want to share.
  2. Ensure the invoice is fully created and has already been sent by email (not saved as a draft).
  3. Select the More option and click Share via.
  4. Then, choose the WhatsApp option.

You can also copy the invoice link and share it directly via WhatsApp.

Yes, i understand that but recently I sent an invoice and clicked always send by email. Now I can't seem to undo that and it only gives me the email option

The Share via option will be available once the invoice has been sent via Email. You can also use a browser on your phone or computer to send the invoice over WhatsApp.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks account using your browser.
  2. Open the invoice you created by going to All apps.
  3. Choose Sales & Get Paid, then click Invoices.
  4. Pick View/Edit on the specific transaction.
  5. Hit the dropdown menu next to Review and send, then select Save & Share (WhatsApp) and follow the on-screen instructions.

Could you tell us more about where you saw the Always send by email option? Was it a pop-up when sending the invoice, or a setting within the app? This will help us point you to the right fix.

I hope this helps you get back to sharing invoices the way you prefer. If you run into any trouble with the steps or have any other questions, don't hesitate to leave a reply below.
