Question

How can I print an estimate, without the prices? I need to provide a copy of the work to be done, but obviously I don't want my employee to see the price

Hi there, brunosousa1975.

You can customise the Estimate template not to show the amounts when printing the form.

To do this, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Custom form styles.
  3. Click the New style button.
  4. Choose Estimate.
  5. Go to the Content tab and select the Table section.
  6. Uncheck the Rate and Amount.
  7. Click Done.

After that, create an estimate and ensure you use the newly created template without printing the price. Then, print.

That's it! The pricing for each item will now not show on the estimate.

For future reference, you might want to personalise and add specific info to your sales forms. For more information, check out this article: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
