You can add a dummy email address to bypass this. In the QuickBooks Self-Employed app, the email field is mandatory by design to support digital delivery and automated tracking.

 

Using a placeholder like sample@email.com satisfies this requirement, allowing you to save the customer for internal tracking and manual bookkeeping without needing actual contact info.
