Hi Pamela, thanks for searching for ways to export your Chart of Accounts (COA) to Excel. You'll have to select an account to start. Let me guide you through the process.

While QuickBooks doesn't currently support a direct Excel export for the full COA at once, you can use the Print feature to save the list as a PDF. Please note that this provides only the list of your accounts rather than the specific transaction details associated with them.

Here's how you can save your COA as a PDF:

  1. Go to Settings and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select all the accounts by ticking the checkbox next to the Name column header.
  3. Click the Print icon, and the document will be saved as a PDF.

To export a specific account into an Excel file, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select a particular account, then click Account History.
  3. Click the Export icon (the Arrow up icon), and the file will automatically download into Excel.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
