Question

I deal exclusively in British pounds, so I want to see only the British pounds sign, not dollars. How to remove or change dollar signs to British pounds?

Hi there, Hello264,

We can change your home currency from dollars to British pounds only if the multi-currency feature is not yet enabled on your account.

Please check whether the multi-currency feature is activated. Once this feature is enabled and applied to your transactions, it becomes permanent, and you will not be able to disable it or change your home currency. If you wish to switch to British Pounds, you'll need to reset your account by purging all existing transactions and starting fresh.

If the multi-currency feature is not yet enabled, you can then change your home currency by following the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Click to Advanced.
  3. Locate the Currency section and click Edit.
  4. From the Home Currency dropdown, select GBP - British Pound Sterling (£).
  5. Click Save to apply the change then hit Done.

Please note that if you have already recorded transactions in USD (or another currency), you cannot change the currency setting unless you deactivate the accounts, delete those linked transactions, and then recreate new ones.

Let me know if you need any further assistance. We're happy to help!
