every time I log in or swith accounts I get a nagging "upgrade" in various locations. It's quite invasive. I do not wish to see those

Turning off ads will be more convenient than closing those helpful guides and suggestions to optimize your QuickBooks Online (QBO), gserex.

The pop-up notifications are designed to guide and suggest you on how to improve your QBO experience. The ads may affect your navigation, however, turning off or blocking permanently the suggestion pop-ups is unavailable.

As a workaround, we recommend clicking the or Nothanks buttons to remove the pop-ups. I've also included this link to help you effectively manage your account for future reference: Learn about QuickBooks Online with how-to videos.

Please don't hesitate to leave a comment below if you have other concerns aside from the upgrade pop-up notifications or any QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be here to help you out.

🙄🙄 Many thanks for your feedback. I will likely upgrade in the near future to a cheaper less nagging accounting software.

Have a great day

Hi gserex, we're sorry for any annoyance caused by the pop-ups and we will feed this back to our Product team for their consideration.

We appreciate you sharing your sentiments with us and hope you have a great day ahead.

Every page I go to has at least two boxes to "X" out.  Some of them are now following the cursor so it takes real effort to close them.  There's so many garbage scripts running on the web interface my CPU load is up to 65% when viewing the page.  (Script Tracer shows 74 scripts running on this page alone!)

It's beyond invasive, the Quickbooks UI is nearly unusable.
