Question

I'm new to qb. I have synced my bank account earlier this morning. However, whilst it shows as sync' at 19:30 hrs the only payment made today doesn't show?

I'm a sole trader. I don't seem to be able to resolve the sync issue.

Hello there, Mitchell. Could you please confirm which specific bank account you are having problems with? The most common reason for this issue is the difference between Pending and Posted transactions.

 

QuickBooks typically will not display a transaction until the bank officially clears it and updates it from 'pending' to 'posted,' which often happens overnight or on the next business day.

 

To resolve this, I recommend manually updating your bank to refresh the connection between QuickBooks and your bank. This is helpful if a bank outage has occurred or if new security requirements have paused the auto-sync. Here's how to do it: Go to All apps>Accounting>Bank transactions>Update> Once updated, check the For review to see if the missing transaction appears.
