scanning purchase receipts

Right now, scanning a purchase receipt isn't available in QuickBooks Online (QBO) UK.

You'll need to extract information from the receipt, and manually record it in QBO. Let me guide you through the steps on how to accomplish this:

1. Click + New.
2. Select Sales receipt under Customers.
3. Choose the name of the customer.
4. Enter all sales information needed to complete the sales receipt.
5. Click Save and close.

If you use QuickBooks Payments, you'll want to process a credit card payment from your customer.
