Question

upgraded to QB Online from QB Sole Trader and now have no access to 10 years of financial reports, tax filings, etc. since upgrading. How can this be possible?

Hi there, @ENP_123.

After upgrading to QuickBooks Online (QBO), your chart of accounts will no longer be automatically mapped your tax form. This means you will need to manually configure the mapping within your QBO account.

Additionally, bank entries from QuickBooks Sole Trader won't appear on the Bank Transactions page in QBO. However, categorised entries will still be retained in your QBO books as deposits or expenses. You can view and edit them as expenses, sales transactions, or invoices as needed.

For more details, you can refer to this article: Upgrade from QuickBooks Sole Trader to QuickBooks Online.
