Question

what are "price rules" and why can't I get rid of the pop up when I make an invoice?

Having the same problem here, using Quickbooks Pro.

Tried 3 different browsers, and 2 different laptops and the same error occurs on all of them.   Can't close the window and it doesn't matter which button you press, nothing happens!

Spoken to my accountant who found out I need to switch to the 'old layout', but as she says I cannot select the button as the other message is in the way.

She is going to try calling Quickbooks on Thursday when next in the office to query it, hopefully they will have fixed the glitch by then.

It's a feature that allows you to control the price of your products and services, Lucy. We'll provide more information below and help you remove the pop-up you encounter when entering an invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, you can offer discounts or charge different rates based on where the employee performed the work using the price rules feature. However, please note that this option is currently unavailable in the UK region or version of the program. For more details, you can visit this US-based article: Set price rules in QuickBooks Online.

Also, I'd like to ask about the pop-up that appears when creating an invoice. Are you referring to accepting credit card payments? If it's your first time entering an invoice, prompts about accepting credit card payments from customers will appear on the invoice page. Once you've set it up, it'll no longer appear on your invoice screen.

Moreover, here's an article to help you manage invoice payments and create personalised sales forms in QBO:
