I tried to journal an opening balance into an existing bank account but I now can't find that opening balance.

Hi accdept-mmc, 

If you are looking for a specific transaction and cannot locate this in the account history, try the Advanced Search. 

To do this navigate to the top right of your file: 

• Select Search > Advanced Search 
• Filter Transaction Type, Dates and/or amounts 
• Click Search 

If you are still having trouble locating the transaction, select Settings and navigate to the Audit Log.
