Is there a way to change how transaction are defaulting? Deposit or expenses are being assigned as transfers, rather then picking up settings from previous transactions?

To clarify, do the transactions have the word "Transfer" or "tfr" in the description? Or is this happening to all deposits and expenses regardless of what is shown in the transaction's description?
